How it works
Claude Sonnet 5.5 writes the ideas at low effort. Structured outputs hold every response to one JSON schema, with 19 fields per idea. The Lambda gives Claude 24 of API Gateway’s 29 seconds. Opus 5.5 at low effort ran past that on an 8,000-character resume, so the generator uses Sonnet.
If the Claude call fails, the Lambda returns 3 built-in sample ideas and reports the model as mock-data. This page labels them when that happens. AWS Lambda behind API Gateway at api.mays.co serves the call, and the page is Astro and TypeScript on S3 and CloudFront. I built it with Claude Code.
